I'm Ciara, a newborn, lifestyle and small wedding photographer based in Dublin. I photograph families and babies in the comfort of their own home and on-location.

After many years working in advertising agencies in both New York and Dublin, I developed a love for photography and the power of a single photograph in capturing a moment in time and its emotions

On becoming a mum my attention naturally turned to baby and family photography and I took some time to also complete my training in natural light photography.

When my girls were small, I realised how much easier it is for families to be themselves at home, in a place that is familiar and calm. That experience has shaped how I approach every session today, allowing real moments to unfold without pressure or rush.

Since establishing Shutter & Belle Photography in 2016, my goal has been to offer a relaxing, calm and fun experience for my clients in the place they are most at ease.

Now that my girls are teens I understand even more how very quickly the time passes and that if we don’t take a moment to pause we may forget to capture those ordinary, meaningful days. I love nothing more than looking back on photos and remembering the long story held within one simple image.

My sessions are unhurried and relaxed guided by the available beautiful light to create simple, natural, timeless images.

My style is clean and authentic with subtle editing that lets the moment remain true.
