When is the ideal time for newborn photography?Newborn sessions with Shutter & Belle Photography are usually held within the first 2-3 weeks after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and more settled. That said beautiful sessions are absolutely possible outside this window too. Every baby is different and I always work at their pace.
How long does a session last?Newborn photography sessions typically last up to two hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddling and settling. Family photography sessions are usually 60-90 minutes. There is no rushing the focus is on creating a calm, enjoyable experience.

Please don’t worry this is completely normal. I allow plenty of time and take a gentle, baby-led approach. Some of the most meaningful images come from those quiet in-between moments.
